In October, we took part in the 2021 Swansea & District Law Society’s Swansea Bay Legal Walk, to raise money for Reaching Justice Wales (the local arm of the Access to Justice Foundation) which funds local advice services.
The Legal Walk takes place every year in all major cities and is an important way to raise money for access to justice.
Advice agencies do a fantastic job in preventing homelessness, resolving debt problems, gaining care for the elderly and disabled and fighting exploitation for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
The money we raised will help to keep local agencies operating and giving access to justice to as many people as possible.
We were lucky to have dry weather during the walk and had some four-legged friends join us too. While at first sight the walk may appear to have been an altruistic act we feel we must confess that all walkers were also treated to a Joe’s Ice Cream by Iscoed Chambers! Thank you Iscoed!
