BWL Support Will Aid 2018

In 2018, Beor Wilson Llyod supported Will Aid, resulting in £1,060 being raised.

A charity Will writing scheme, Will Aid partner with legal professionals and nine of the UK’s charities including NSPCC, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, Save The Children and Age UK to raise money for vulnerable individuals in need of help and support.

In 2018, BWL participated in raising money for Will Aid. Throughout November 2018 we waived our usual fees for the production of wills, inviting our clients to make voluntary donations to Will Aid instead.  As a result, we were able to raise and donate £1,060 to help those in need around the world, while continuing to offer will preparation services to our private clients.

On supporting Will Aid 2018, Paul Bevan, Litigation Partner, states; “Once again, we have been delighted to participate in this year’s “Will Aid” scheme. The scheme provides an opportunity for people to make a will, and instead of paying our fees, making a contribution to charity instead. It hopefully provide a reminder that, making a will is something that everyone should consider, to ensure that there estates are dealt with in the way that they want them dealt with after their days. They can also help in tax and financial planning, minimising or eliminating tax payments to the State, and avoiding possible disputes between family members.”
