SOLICITOR:

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Solicitor to join our growing Private Client team.

The successful candidate will join our busy Private Client Department working with a varied caseload ranging from wills, tax planning, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney and registration of enduring powers of attorney to applications to the Court of Protection, assisting and advising attorneys and Court of Protection appointed Deputies, creation and administration of Trusts and residential conveyancing.

Experience of wills & probate and/or conveyancing is therefore preferable. A broad range of procedural knowledge would also be beneficial, as would a sincere and caring disposition. You will be responsible for assisting the Senior Associates and Partners within the firm but will also be expected to develop your own caseload and will be given the opportunity to advance and maintain both new and existing client relationships.

The ideal candidate would have 1-3 PQE and will be self-motivated with a hunger for achieving the best possible results for our clients.

PARA-LEGAL:

Are you looking to progress your legal career? We are seeking an enthusiastic Paralegal to join our busy Private Client team.

The departments caseload is a mixture of wills, tax planning, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, registration of enduring powers of attorney, applications to the Court of Protection, assisting and advising attorneys and Court of Protection appointed Deputies, creation and administration of Trusts and residential conveyancing.

The successful candidate will be an LPC Graduate with excellent interpersonal skills and a suitable academic background. They will also be self-motivated with a desire to learn and progress their career. The successful candidate can expect to receive competitive remuneration for the role, as well as possible long-term career development prospects within the firm.

Experience of wills & probate and/or conveyancing is preferable but not essential for the right candidate. You will be responsible for a range of roles within the firm including assisting Solicitors and other Fee Earners within the firm with the preparation and progression of individual cases as well as other administrative duties. You will also be expected to visit clients and properties in and around the local area so a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial. Future opportunities may also be provided for you to develop your own caseload.
