Geoffrey Rees LL.B. A.L.C.M.

Geoffrey grew up in Swansea and was educated at Bishop Gore School before going to Exeter University where he read Law. He completed his Solicitor’s academic training at the College of Law, London and Chester before undertaking Articles of Clerkship in Swansea and the City of London. Geoffrey then qualified in London working in the litigation departments of two prestigious and high profile London and international firms. In 1988 Geoffrey returned to his home town of Swansea to lead the Litigation Department at BWL as a partner. In October 2009 he succeeded Robert Taylor as the firms Managing Partner. Geoffrey has extensive knowledge of the civil process and is an expert in his field. He has a significant portfolio of clients dealing with a full spectrum of claims from relatively routine personal injury matters up to complex and high value claims in personal injury and other litigation cases, including contentious probate. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. His interests are in rugby union, classical music and good food.
